Our workshop is centrally located in Barking, close to Excel London and London City Airport. We can be easily accessed by road via the A13, A406 and the A12.
We service and maintain heavy haulage vehicles in line with DVSA requirements. All our mechanics have Irtec accreditation.

Our qualified mechanics will carry out an effective check of the performance of your vehicle and trailer’s brakes.
Vehicles are required to be fully loaded before being roller-brake tested for effective grip and measurement between the tyre and the rollers. We recommend at least 95% of the vehicle design axle weight (DAW) for an efficient test. It is advised to carry out an HGV brake test four times per year. The traffic commissioner requests a meaningful brake test every six weeks.
Six week HGV safety inspections
Under the HGV Operator’s Licence, Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI) are required to be carried out at 6-8week intervals depending on your Operator’s Licence.
These lorry inspections enable the operator to maintain roadworthiness of their trucks and trailers. The inspection is in addition to scheduled servicing and routine maintenance.
Ask us about safety inspections for first use of a new vehicle or for units that are being brought back into use after a period of being out of service.
Repairs and MOT preparation
The Baxle commercial vehicle workshop can carry out on-going maintenance, repairs and preparation for MOT. We specialise in heavy-goods vehicles (HGVs), large-goods vehicles (LGVs) and tipping trailers.
